Silves - A antiga capital moura do Algarve. O seu castelo árabe,
ponte romana e a antiga catedral (séc. XIII) são pontos de grande
interesse nesta visita. A excursão seguirá para a Fóia, ponto mais alto do Algarve (902m), Aqui poderá observar a flora da região e avistar algumas das principais cidades do Algarve. Saboreie a excelente aguardente de medronho. Paragem na Caldas de Monchique e no Parque da Mina, antiga quinta, localizada na Serra, onde terá a oportunidade de viajar no passado do povo e relembrar a maneira de viver das classes abastadas da zona. Pode ainda assistir à recriação da destilação do medronho, assim como do carvão e, conhecer a quinta dos animais, a mina, zona de lazer, a cafetaria e loja. |

Silves – The old Moorish capital of the Algarve with its Moorish castle, a
gothic cathedral, from the XIII century, and the roman bridge. From here
we continue our journey to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve (902m)
from this point observe its flora and fauna and its most popular cities in the
Algarve. Next stop will be at Caldas de Monchique and Mina park where you will go back in time by seeing and remember the rich people way of life. Visit a distillery where you can try the “Medronho”, the local drink of the Algarve, get to know the Mina, animal farm, and the area of leisure with cafeteria and shop. |
